Default Some sad ex forest trees Gold Coast

These were some of the worst egs of selected retentions in a subdivision Some of the Brisbanites will recognise the site and know the developer

I'm hoping all these have been removed since I took the shots about 18mths ago. The one that looks like it has a small conifer growing in front of it doesn't, thats all epicormics. The whippy looking stick at an angle from the driveway when you stood on the root flare could feel the plate lift in the wind, wasn't even blowing strong

The subdivision ended up being called varsity lakes..

I took a developer up here who did exactly the same at Edenbrooke estate.

The whole system is stuffed, top to toe. Even had a councillor come and have a look .... might as well talk to the trees.

They argued it was green, friendly and trees were good etc ... pack of idiots.

Honestly, Queensland is more than 1 hour behind. lol

Sometimes you can feel really discouraged but then find that other parts of the world are managing to get on track.

I just love whats been going on in Palo Alto in the past 4yrs, the work that Dave Dockter has done there is really admirable and a model for all LGA's
