Last year I did a 3 day, 8 hour a day in tree dead elm removal. Foot plates on spikes payoff on those. Nothing out of tree didn't have a rope on it.

A lot of the big take downs I leave into the second day either look like a giant penis (clients have stated this) or sometimes look like a one finger salute because of high tie in point and if the number of digits match up. Burying a lot of brush with heavy wood is not wise sometimes if groundy cannot keep up.

I say if someone's never taken more than one day on a removal then they haven't moved in to the big leauges of tree removal yet.

I always hate thinking about the second day (the night after the first day) of a real technical rigging climbing removal that is tough enough but it is in the winter, 20 degrees out and forecast for windy. Just thoughts that make for stress. Like even in late summer or so, if I see a picture anywhere of snow coming down or on ground, I think of the worst winter, and they can be tough sometimes.
