Nice set up tree monkey. Mine is very similar. You know i tried to get tree monkey or arbor monkey for my e-mail but had to settle for arborjockey. Is the metal plate wearing a hole through the bottom on yours?

Arborjockey

I guess i got lucky with the name it was the first one i tried.its been my nic name at the fire department since i started. The bottom of my saddle is starting to show wear at the corners but not through yet. if mine does i will use shoe goo (for repairing shoes) And glue webbing over top of it. I use it to repair gloves instead of buying a new pair every week.

Arbdog

i seen the device on this forum looks very useful for accurate blocking of large pieces instead of wrestling it.

That looks like a nice setup Tree Surfer. I used to Climb in a Petzl Navaho too but with the leg loops and top suspender... Boy did that thing cut me in half (nothing like the look of yours)

No haven't got problems with it. They just have to put their way of handling things aside and do it like I ask them too... Everything has it's place... and that's not so very difficult to get that right huh?

Not especially difficult Q, no...

I know that often at the end of a long hard dirty day, it's not uncommon for all the equipment to get somewhat unceremoniously dumped in the truck... make sure it's all in... get it all home and sort it out in the morning.

Or even later that evening, just get HOME and do it... instead of lingering around at the job site.

Giving everything it's place may be the only thing i have got right so far. Here's a shot of my kit, packed up:

The hardcase the SRL is in has an O ring seal, got it for $20 surplus. The rope bags I picked up at a yard sale for $5. The big one has a matching small case that slides into a slot in front. I use that for my throwline kit.

The Black bag with my belt and saddle is for Oxygen bottles and a respirator. Got it for $3 at a Goodwill Store.
