Lets hope this old (young) Dracaena draco can be saved, For Australia it is a large specimen, This plant was once the favorite food of the now extinct Dodo Bird. If it can not be saved it will be a shame! I remember walking past it last year.It's called a Dragon's Blood tree, common name, because of it's red sap.We know some lads that work at RBG we will find out more soon ![]() ![]()

It'll live, well parts will. Aren't those the types you can cut a piece with an angle, shove in the ground and they grow? I'm sure they are. As long as it's not rotten should be able to guy it upright and get something happening, if not, time to try the strike big cuttings tree. Just my 0.02 as a shiny ass.

Your Title grow's..LOL.Yes they will grow from stem cuttings ( cut just below the node) placed in a well drained sandy mix. Time holds the answer for this grand old gal. ![]() ![]()

Our dragon blood tree busted a while ago too (split), it's a 6 prop job now. Not looking good at the base.
