Default Pruning damaged Cedrus Atlantica

This week I took on the job of removing broken limbs and pruning remaining part of this Ceder. It was dammaged by winds of a thunderstorm.The job took us one and 1/2 day. In the first pictures you will see the damage,then the pruning and the last three are pictures of the start, halfway and end result

it a shame what mothernature do some time damaging the trees but what can you do, we just been doing a lot of clean up our self after a big storm and it not nice to see a good tree like the one in the photo getting damage, but i guess it keep us busy, nice work mate

Nice pics, Always large wounds in the stem when a Cedrus limb breaks out.

Cracking smell off that timber eh. Many mature Cedars i've seen have much wind and snow damage...

Nice looking tree, nice foliage, was a fat bugger!

It didn't look that big till you got in it, that soon gets it in perspective.

They're the good jobs, involve some expertise and has left overs unlike removals.

The weight of the wood from those three branches without the stuff that fitted in our chipper was 1 ton !

Where was the thunderstorm.
I think I was right in it!

Lot of wind, thunder, and more of that Sh*t.
All the trees where's damaged.

Hello Juno, the tree is located in Hilversum. I don't know when the storm was, I think a couple of weeks back.
