Those were taken in 1898 and 1930...The big buck was in the late 40's......before the tractor day's.
Feel free to copy them...no copyrights...

i did n' now that they ware used for work. They had a lot of power i suppose, are dere people dat stil use them?

Funny you should say that I was thinking of showing the photos to my girlfriends mother. Shes not not from Ontero or anything but I need a groundman and I'm thinking that harness would fit her.

They are still used here as an attraction but old farmers still use the "quarter horses" when logging in deep snow or where tree damage needs to be avoided.

AJ, if it fit's her half as well as it fit's her daughter, then you've really got something going.

Jockey, I'm with Therrin on this one. I was paying attention to your pictures in last weekends thread. Sorry to say, ALWAYS HAVE A GOOD LOOK AT THE MOTHER. Its a big part of the genetic formula.
