That's some pretty neat looking engineering. It looks like it is going to work out well. I've thought before it would be neat to be able to add the hyd horsepower from the mini skid aux system to the cutter wheel in addition to the direct driving engine. Theoretically the engine size at the cutter wheel could be reduced. |

I tried a couple of stumpers for the skidsteers. They just didnt have the horsepower. I think with this set up the horse power is actually more since the motor on the grinder is no longer driving a hydraulic pump.

On most stumpers when the engine is bogged in the stump the hyd system slows down proportionally making a quick pull out difficult. Your system doesn't have this fault. Neat looking set up. | |

Never thought of that Treeco. Mine runs a seperate engine for the stumper too but I never thought of the bogging down factor as I always have full hydraulic power. Good stuff.

Well done allmark! Pretty quick turnaround on the project Do you run any other stumpers? Is this about having a niche bit of equipment or just a all in one solution already having the dingo? |

I do have a Carlton 7500 and a Carlton 2700. I did it because I have a couple days wiork on a side hill where the lower cg and tracks are nice. Also if I have the dingo on the job I wont have to bring the carlton.
