Hi Folks, I was wondering who's is going to get involved in National Tree Day? I am, I'm not sure if I should go with an exzisting site or try to organise my own. I feel this is a good oportunity to help our local comunities replentish their Tree's. You can plant natives, shrubs and grasses. So get active,Plant some tree's on National Tree Day 27/7/08 ![]() ![]()

For anyone who does want to get envolved contact your local/regional greening Australia group, your local council and ask what events are going on in your neck of the woods....you'll be surprised by the amount of things that are happening...also try your LGA parks and gardens, landcare, and your local ASGAP. |

I think the City looks after them, watering..etc..etc. As good as they appear to be, they could have been better, vandilised failure to take. But overall good...

Dont just stop @ National Tree Day. Check out local councils and friends groups, they are always doing planting days. Especially council bush crews, they just love sitting back and watching you plant stuff for them, but they actually take proper care of them.

Here we are 3 years on and 99% of all trees planted are doing quite well, here are some photo's for you all to see and comment on, and maybe get involved in planting some trees for our future... ![]() Mujar Bija looking from the front of the reserve... ![]() Here is the difference between staged plantings... ![]() The view from up the hill behind the planting site... ![]() The effort that has been used in planting all these young trees has been well invested, these trees will flourish for years to come. Congratulations to all involved...
