As promised Ekka heres some pics from here in my area of live oak.I'll have some more. http://i251.???????????.com/albums/g...7/IMG_0027.jpg The tree above was pollarded as well as every other tree in the parking lot. http://i251.???????????.com/albums/g...7/IMG_0038.jpg this one had 3 leaders. One broke off from rot and decay then in march line clearance trimmed it and a second section failed in a wind storm in april. http://i251.???????????.com/albums/g...7/IMG_0041.jpg This one has rot in it and line clearance butchered it in march. did I mention asplunduh does the line clearance in my area?

It's a shame to always have to look at trees like that that when you drive by... Here we have the same problem, only a lot worse... I'll get some pictures in the next few days...

LMAO, newguy18. As a farmer myself the image is of you bending over to pick up the pin nd having your hand stepped on is burned into my mind. You didn't happen to have been raised in the city??? You know, as a rule cows aren't that bright, and are not USUALLY in much of a hurry. All these folks that frequent the tree sites thought tree work was dangerous, HUH, try working in the rural areas. RIGHT? |

we use to ride them as kids. we d get on em in the stantions and ride em out the barn door. in general they almost always ran for the brush. it was hard to stay on with just bailing twine. now that im all growed up it seems to be more fun to grease up the pigletts and watch the women try catching them.
