PS. Just like when a driver is injured or killed and it hurts us all a bit, when it comes to safe vehicals, .....we are all in this thing together and safety and professionalism are of the utmost importance. (Son, stick around and I'll teach you something).

Been in the biz way longer than you and much more educated. Know the dif between an Austrian and an Australian (lol) Pine. Seen some of your posts. Put a helmet on your head and quit banging into limbs and maybe some sense will work its way in there. cheers

Oh look, my avatar isnt wearing a helmet either! EEEEK!

I think Treejames64 and NG should get together and do some work. They can throw all their PPE in a pile and burn it and take pictures.

A poem I read the other day..Goes like this
I saw them tearing a building down,
A group of men in a busy town,
With a hefty blow and a lusty yell,
They swung with zest,
And a side wall fell.
Asked of the Foreman,
"Are these men skilled? The kind you would hire if you had to build?"
He looked at me, and laughed, "No, indeed! Unskilled labor is all I need.
Why, they can wreck in a day or two,
What it has taken builders years to do."
I asked myself, as I went my way,
Which of these roles have I tried to play?
Am I a builder with rule and square,
Measuring and constructing with skill and care?
Or am I the wrecker who walks the town,
Content with the business of tearing down?

I started out joking but realize that it's getting a little off track. We can have differences of opinion without destroying someone elses web sight or someone's thread.

Omigosh! I AM so proud of you!

I'm not baking you a cake though...screw that. No stickers for you either.

Someday, when something smacks you HARD in your head, and you've got your helmet on but you're still seeing stars....you can think "Damn, I'm proud of myself for wearing this helmet"

Then it'll all be worthwhile and you'll never think twice about it.

Nice crane pics though! I didn't mean to harass too much, as I've never had the opportunity of using a crane. I'd love to sometime though, looks like alot of added skill to learn.

I dont climb with chaps either. And NG, you've told us all what kind of PPE you own. Maybe a dozen times.

I know that Treejames64 owns a helmet. But owning it, and USING it (especially in pics of crane work you post on an open forum) are two totally different things.

Don't even start in on me about PPE NG, you were climbing on Lowe's construction grade rope for how many years? Geez....

YOu ever had the chance to do any crane work NG? I'd love to. Looks like a blast.
