Yep. We're genetically identical, but look pretty different these days. I'm so thankful for chromasomal differentiation!

So what happens if they get mixed up for one reason or another and sleep with the wrong twin?

If they are both that twinny, how would they know? other than personal idiosyncrasies of character.....

There are always differences. In identical twins especially, one will have a narrower, longer face than the other. There are also fairly distinctive character differences, one generally being far more daring than the other for example. Then there are differences in voice, body language etc. No twins could ever fool another twin. Other people get confused, but not twins.

On an interesting note, genetically a mix-up wouldn't matter at all, the twins being genetically identical.

I can see the differences in the two guys, they look the same but quite different really, but the girls are pretty close in looks, easily get confused, ones taller but that could be a difference in shoes.

Aren't the hairstyles hot though, LoL, so eighties, and why would you get the same clothes at that stage, surely after the mom had dressed them in the same clothes for years they would rebel somewhat .........

I thought the couple on the right might be standing on lower ground Julie, as they're both a bit shorter. The guy on the right seems to have a fatter face.

A friend of mine is having twins in a few months and wants me to be godmum! I was googling twins as I thought I'd better know something about them seeing as I'm going to a godmother.

Some really weird stuff on google about twins!
