A couple years ago I got a call to look at date palm just down the street from my house. I noticed this 60+ft. washingtonia palm in another corner of the property with a big wedge cut out and filled with concrete. the owner said the kids might have done it. Had to get a bunch of pics when I saw the poor thing. They asked me if it was safe and I said no. They wanted to keep it anyway. Some handyman put the concrete wedge in. |

Well depending on how much of a hinge the kids would have left... ...It's gonna' land out in the yard or in the hedge. I was surprised to see em' keep it, definately no financial issues...at all (1 million+ home). really nice folks, like to have a good time (BB-Q). ![]() Didn't get a chance to meet the kids. |
