Just finished the day with a big removal and a small trim job getting the trucks ready for tomorrow and the phone rings.Home owner says do you do emergency removals?? Well have a look at what happened, as soon as we got the tree rigged up the sky opened up with heavy rain and lighting just fricken great. We rigged a pull line (orange rope) back to the chip truck to take the weight off the roof and a tag line(red rope) tied off to a porty to control main part so it wouldn't hit the deck when the tree was cut off the roof. Notice the high back cut he used to fell the tree, he used no wedges or pull rope. oh but he just bought a new 260 for the job. need less to say we will be fellen the rest of the trees for him next week |

Did it cave in the roof? How about soft spots in the roof, or just in the HO's head?

Excellent pics, would have been handy for a crane. Yes, angled back cuts and cut through hinges. LOL Why angled back cuts are dangerous And for those who do take the time out for pics and posting, thank you. ![]()
