Hi Phill,
I've camped at the Garden of Stones, The real one thurther west than the marked one, next door, I've some pictures as well of the area and will post when I return home. I have pictures of an early doctors place aswell under a boulder on the side of a revine. It's a nice area to look around when you know your way through as I do

Now or my two eucs: one is certainly E. rossii and the other seems to be E. melliodora if I'm any judge.

700px wide jpg's are the go ... bmp's are better quality but the file size is a killer.

I tried to address this problem over on the "embedded pics" thread, but apparently noone took any notice.

In the instructions for embedding a pic, he left out a very important part of the IMG tag when he made it, and apparently noone's bothered to change it yet (still).

When you put in IMG tags, the first one looks like [IMG] but the closing tag needs to be a [/IMG]. In the instructions he left out the "/" in the closing tag, so now anyone who follows those instructions won't have embedded pics showing up, just little boxes with x's in them.

I saw that fig tree and house in the cliff, but didn't realise it was a doctor's house. We camped just near there on the fire trail on the northern slopes of Mt Airlie. The next day we walked up onto Airlie Turrett, which is on a ridge further south.
At the moment the Total Environment Centre is trying to include this area in a national park rather than a state recreation area. The main difference is that coal mining could be allowed in a SRA, possibly causing collapse of the clifflines.
