Its wind failure, any cypress stump is easy to dig out..John- Trevor had to cut that head out but we had a large rope tied to a loader pulling as well.

What kind of cut did he use? Step/snap cut? Or did he do a topside scarf?

Is that a 16" bar? If so, keep the bar, I like the 14" light weight.

That's an unfair question Lopa coz I know what you got it for

But yeah, you tell me, PM me if you like.

Aren't pines worth anything over in oz?over here 9 times outta 10 if you can drop the whole tree, a timber buyer will come a buy the tree from you.they really want our black cherries as well.Friend sold 2 8' sections of black cherry for 300 bucks.I'm gonna fell 9 of them for the farrier either tommorow or next weeks some time.Average of 60-90' tall and about 20" in diameter.

Hi ya'll, long time no sea, much to do and a big customer that refuses to pay a big load of money. Will try again to make some time for our society. Here some pictures of what we do with our trunks and branches. We collect them on several places. For the chipped branches we get about 4 AUSD. For trunks we get 30 AUSD, length may vary from 300 up till 550cm. Pictures with the forwarder are taken at a farm that wanted to get rid of some shrubbery and trees that came down with a storm 3 yrs ago. The elm came down for construction. For Sweden this was a big tree, made the newspapers again. Also these branches are collected until we get about 600m3 together. Last picture is what I am about, precisionfelling. An oak came down without damaging the Rhododendron, another bush at the left and the lamppost is also still standing strong. The tree was not that healthy.

In that last picture what's that cable/rope all about? Seems a little low for pulling on either as a side rope or felling rope.
