Man im jealous. I'd love to spend a day working with trees in the alps. Might have to put my hand up to come give you a hand next time.

Removed a dying Snow Gum in Blackburn (eastern melbourne suburb) about 10 years ago. Was bloody big. Meaty multiple stems. Must get a longer growing season than in the alps, maybe at the cost of a shortened life expectancy though.

There were 2 others on the same property, if i can remember where i'll see if theyre still about next time i'm in the area.

Walking along Church Street towards Prince Alfred Park, between Phillip Street and the river on your left its a small resturant only Chinese Malay place in that part of the street, there's a Korean place nearby, have the vague recollection that it is sandwiched between some other resturants, but like I say its the only one serving chilli crab and the walk to the park is worth it some pretty Jacarandas there!

Well, they can ride the cement bucket too!

With cuts like that he'd get a job at Q-Build!

Is that guy in bare feet?

Ive got some video footage somewhere of some tree work in Singapore.
This was in Orchard Rd which is the most upmarket shopping area, like a Toorak Rd or Rodeo Drv.

They looked the same, no ppe, thongs, and were thinning and crownlifting (in a fashion) a similar looking tree with machetes. Bloody quick and effective on those long thin diameter minor branches though.
