Default Does this remind you of that bird with Chainsaw feet?

Saw this tree on my travels today, it is amazing what people will do and how they would think something like this would look good!!!

Yea it is a Liquidambar Steve, Is that a because you always see them like this or in Taupo flat topped!!

ha ha ha, im back up in Cambridge now aye dude, but man, i gota get a pic of another hamilton street tree that, admitidly has been "pollarded' before, but its covered in farily large pole chainsaw scrapes on it...........terrible!

hows things up over the hill?

Nice work there. I've thought of telling people that ask about topping their tree that I'll top it, as long as they also pay me to key the paint on their car, and put bricks through the windows of their house if they are trying to hire pointless destruction.

sometimes thats what the client asks for. they dont realize how it could effect the trees health. i have had a coulpe ask for topping and always try to detour them from it. i guess its "your wish is my command"
