Default Dave in the Tomago Stone Pine

This is Dave Pfister from Tamworth in NSW Australia, not me. I was in the tree next to him. This 174 year old monster tree was climbed regularly by arboriculture students at TAFE in the Hunter Valley NSW until this year. In January 2008, this old stick rolled out of the ground and came to earth ending its days. A huge storm 6 months before had caused major root damage, then a long wet summer caused the canopy to become very heavy with new growth.

Great picture...We love pictures.

What part of Lake Macquarie do you come from?I used to go for holidays there when I was a kid it was great me and my cousin would go up to Cold Tea Creek and catch the bait for my dad and unlce to go fishing for Flathead out in the lake.

I remember times when all hell would break loose up there when the "Black" hit talk about powerfull and dangerous storm we survived a few.

When I got older I used to like haveing a coldy at the Gunyah boy that place has memories for me
.
Keep the pictures comeing and dont forget about our contest.
