Always get a bit jealous seeing you kiwis flying on the hook.

If we could do that i'd probably hire cranes more

That was a spanking looking new crane too!

Todays pics will tell the rest of the story, the base of my tree was 6t, and Alistair's was 11t.

worked all day till 3 at least prity much in the rain all day... had issues with the truck size today, plenty of cutting and figuring out to get that bad boy in there

Watcha guy,s. Been a while since i spoke on here (sorry) lol.
Those were big Chestnuts, did they stink in the rain?? Looks like there may have been some nails or something in them looking at the stain in the base their.
We too would like to ride the hook on the crane but a real no no here guys.
Well almost 12 months since i was in N Z loved the place, (North Island) hope to come back soon and travel the South Island.
Love a job off one of you guys i would be out like a flash.
What a place to live and work, was only their for a month but would love to live out their.
Had a real poor year here this year been very quiet so the break over in NZ was the best thing.
Anyway keep up the good work keep busy.

And oh climb safe out there.

Rob.

Default Relaxed Tree Laws.

Just read in one of the threads here you,r laws towards Tree Preservation is being relaxed WHY?? I know that there are an awfull lot of trees out in NZ but do you think this will open the flood gates?????.
I mean land owners, may see this as an opportunity to clear land for development $$$$$$$$.
Or have i missed something in an earlier postting?

And oh climb safe out there.
