Default Chorisia Speciosa

Palo borracho en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina.
"Era tan chiquito cuando lo plantaron !!". It was so tiny when they planted it !!.

Hola, mujer bonita.

I'm sorry if I just offended you, I don't speak spanish & I was not talking to Ruben.

You have a very good website, how's business?

Nice pictures, did they plant it or build around it? I've seen a few houses built around trees here, not a good idea. I'll see if I can get a picture, I don't go there much.

Smart planting or engineering.

So much for the tree roots dont do stuff!

Cop a load of the force on the building.

Eric...I could be wrong but I don't think anyone has ever said roots don't have an effect, merely that the claims of roots penetrating properly cured and formed concrete, the lifting and cracking of properly constructed buildings are not substantiated; the most important aspect leading to the failure of in ground constructions is the inadequacies of the foundation works.

The vast majority of the more serious root damage I have ever been asked to assess has been the result of root growth in the gap between the built structure and the ground level becoming a fulcrum point of stress when that gap closes. The lifting of pavers and unreinforced single thickness brick walls is not what I would personally consider unpredictable or surprising damage.
