Default Butt tying pines

today we had to removed 4 pines up on some hills above a house, before felling them we hook the old turfor on, butt tie ( to stay on permanently ) then pull them over. once down we then tie up the upper barrels (permanently) so the owner have no worrys bout them rolling down in the middle of the night

Now what? Did you not understand the reason for the cables?

Nice long term solution, Phil!

thank rbtree, yes it is for long term solution as the owner wanted them trees removed as they where growing bigger over their house, they where then concern that they may roll down after we cut them so butt tying with cables was the only way to go, then the owner need not to panic. as for draging the stuff out , I dont think so, it a hell of a drag

LOL good one mate but no as there no way in hell a crane could reach, the only other way would be a helicopper but that would be too costly for whats it worth
