Just a pointer, lots of the pics are 1600px wide and huge file sizes, for people with slower internet connections it's a killer so try to go around 700px wide and 100kb. I like them snow pics and what a whopper wasp nest, just like the movies.

sorry the pics are so big. im learning how to make them smaller so people with not so fast computers can view them easily. the spruce is behind by parents and the nissan 300 is in the front yard. all this snow arrived in about two days...it rained....got cold....then started snowing again. not to change things up too drastically but my parents have several beautiful apples in the front and rear of their yard. my mother hangs feeders on them. this draws in the nut hatches and woodpeckers and they destroy the tree. besides fine shot or removing the feeders does anyone have any suggestions to keep these flying termites out.

An easy image resizer can be had free from MicroSoft. Here's the link. Look for imageResizer.exe on the right column. Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP or Here is a direct link to the file. http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe Just install it and then all you have to do is right click your pictures and choose a size or customize any size you want.

Hey, bigshea13, congrats on the snow if you get tired of it send some my way, we have a whole whopping 1/2". I noticed you work on some decent size ash trees, are you finding that people are payin attention to cleaning them up as not to attract EAB? By the way, whats the word on the spread of those nasty Emerald borers? By the way nice pics, my partner never seems to have the time to get any action shots!

treedimensional.. they havent hit ny yet. mostly ohio, indiana, michigan. it seems to be only a matter of time before they arrive. we had an infestation of tent catipillars 2 years ago. that really retarded the fruit tree growth. they leave nests everywhere and they look like sh*t. the people round here dont understand how important their trees are untill they have to come down. I think its because where we live there are so many trees and they come in all shapes sizes that people just expect to see them there forever. they are more willing to spend a couple hundred bucks on halloween decorations but not on something thats going to decorate their yard and life year round
