We remove 4 big poplars today using a 20 ton crane. The trees were bout 28 mtr high. I would have like to take them down in bigger bits but we had very limit space to lower the limbs and was told that there is to be no damage to any other trees. Taken bout 8 hours butit was another good day work. |

That would have cost a fortune, good on ya's! Bout time we see equipment being used rather people abused all in the name of a dollar.

Great photos. Just curious. Where all the trees dead or dying and why were they removed? |

Good job Phil. Big pieces are great if you can lift them off safely and like you say, practically lay them down somewhere....but they still looked fair size lumps to me mate. Were you the climber? How did the crane operator shape up? Do you get many jobs like that? |
