Sorry to be away so long ,been busy as a mutha. WOW $13000 , I have never done a tree near that price. I would have a hell of time even trying to come up with a bid for that. If something went wrong and you went into the red ,and were losing money, that job would be literally "hell-on-earth". Good job, I would've love to climb that bastrd and bomb it piece by pieceI guess I could have done that for , say about $12,500 AGAIN , Good job , you and your crew

that would definitely have made for a totally different kind of thread.

i think you are asking the weight of trunk 64000 lbs

i guess you would have to have cut pieces and deliver to the ground as block and tackle would have been a straight snatch with no room to slow stop and that would have been interesting.

my brother rough cut logs for tables, benches, chairs, etc.

Wow I'm impressed!!! It is a beautiful tree and really a shame that it had to go. What's even a bigger shame is that it took you guys 5 days to take it down. I mean, wtf??? You even had a crane there!!! Cummon guys!!!

didn't I see in another thread that you didn't like how everybody was attacking you and your methods
and didn't you say and i quote
" I would'nt be so arrogant if I wasn't attacked from the get go. I do things my way, you do things your way.

your comment regarding the procedures i took and the length of time it took could be potentially interpreted as arrogant and superior. I really am not against you but I do think that the above comment doesnt bring about healthy dialogue.

hey ive had Personal protective equipment drilled into my head since i started working in arboriculture and im wondering if when you are working in a lift like the one you've been using (with no sides like a normal bucket would) with all due respect shouldnt you be wearing boots and sawpants? i know people in different places have different standards with PPE such as sawpants but still, this was a giant tree and the ammount of saw work being done even though your experienced, the chances of you cutting your foot or leg are obviously higher.
other than that, wow that is a massive tree id love to climb around in the beast! good work man

I can't look at the rest of the pics-I like to see trees planted, not felled! Such a shame.
