Thumbs down Bad Lop Jobs

This trees just a few streets away from home.

I quoted this tree bout a year ago. Owner told me he wants to chop it bout 1/2 way. Told him otherwise, explained it all as you guys know, explained council will not permit, against local law etc.

Drove by today and saw this. Worse than the pic shows too. Cuts are on the weirdest angles ( not that it really matters) , maybe all done with a pole saw as high as they could reach. Rips all the way down the stems to the main trunk.

Council are now aware of it.

Ps. ekka, its not always perfect down here either.

Hows the rip on the branch over the street? Like 3' long.

Bust that straight away.

By the way, what sort of tree is that? Pepper tree, Peppermint gum?? Hard to tell from the pics, shocking job, wasn't that big a tree in the first place, a little bit of work from a good arbo and she'd have been sweet.
