The stump was left, owner was going to plant some trees in it,
and the wood has been all cut up now.

Happy Easter to all at Tree World

Had to remove this large tree on a steep bank, a vertical speed line was used, some pic's ,might even make a short video of it aswell.

Yes everyones jumping around with knees bent in bouncing behaviour these days, due to Litigation and er.............well sanity or lack of it?
How old would you determine the tree is that you are standing next to in your profile pic?

Ace, those are some amazing picture. The first picture is my favorite and as pointed above by one of the members in the forum, it deserves to be framed and hung on the wall. kudos on a great job and thanks for sharing the images with the rest of us.

We used the tower to remove the rest, before we started, we talked the young climber Jake into getting up this was to build up his confidence and to get more experience, normally you would big shot a lifeline up, if the tower can't be used aswell.

awesome photos there Ace,my guess is that it took longer to set up the crane and your tower than to do the tree work, must have been a pain with them bloody wires there

You have to work it from side to side, or try to give it a big flick, its hard work

Hey Ace, awesome photos!

Was it hard getting the authorisation to go over the top of those HVs?

We have a similar type of job coming up where we need a big ass knuckle tower to go over the top of the LVs but can't go ahead until we get authorisation from Energy Australia...
