We measured it around the base (at ground leve), it was 13m. same size as the tree in the backyard where we did those big cypress stumps.They would be about 2km away from each other.

Same deal with this one,another dead and split climbing job.
The crew roped up the split fork, see in the last 2 pictures.
The high point was the tower again.Some how i get all the good jobs
Got some vid to come aswell.

I have to say i am glade their are not many if any trees as big as the monsters you are doing around here. I would be hooked on aspirin and Tylenol

Whereabouts in Gembrook Ace? I love it up there, nearly moved there a couple of years ago but bought a house in the same area we were already in. Wife wasnt keen on living in the "middle of nowhere" Lol, i couldn't think of anywhere better! Got friends up in Hoddles Creek and love going up to visit any chance i get. Got some big trees to drop up there for em soon.

Remember to let me know when your doing a big mutha to come check it out and video for ya!

Story bout big trees.

As told buy the boss's father when he came to see a big tree we were doing.

"Ha you call that big sonny, we once spent a whole day scarfing a tree only to go around the back to start the backcut. we find another crew trying to scarf it the other way!

Tonimbuk rd just before Vic Parks,a very nice and quiet area,got 7 big mutha jobs to start next week and you better bring your lunch along with your climbing gear aswell.

Tonimbuk rd is nice & flowy.
Gembrook-Launching Place Rd was awesome till they wrecked it with that bitumen crap

It was a private logging coop, the boys just meet the training officer there to do the felling tickets, wasn't our job site.
