Kimtree,
the butt was left at 25ft tall it didn't have to come right down to ground level,the rest was taken away for fire wood, no milling, it had white ants and fungus all the way along the trunk base.That large peice with the crane was 4.5 ton.

Pictures of some large Red Gum timber we did last week, the heaviest section was 6 tons, and tower pic's too.
