I've had some good ones and I've had some PITA ones, and the rate they charge for another bloke standing there with his hands in his pockets is annoying.

I was thinking of getting a doggers ticket, but waste of time if the crane co's veto it.

The crane company we use always sends the same dogman out, most of the time we have already striped all the limbs and the trunk is ready for lifting. We have our own 16ton crane with a hight of 22m that we use for the smaller lifts. When we hire 50ton or more the dogman is part of the deal, the dogman is usually in our Ewp.

Heya Ace!

I've been up there once when I was younger, I'll have to take the trip and do it again sometime soon. Man, that stuff is just breath-taking!!!

I always thought the one in your avatar looked decent sized... that stuff changes up the scale quite a bit though!
