Default Winter Treework Scotland

Hi Folks

The first half of this vid is 3 trees being felled from ground level, a Beech (100ft) and 2 Lombardy Poplars (around 90ft), the 2nd half of the vid is just random footage from run of the mill jobs I shot over the winter.

Its only a couple mins long, I try to leave out the boring stuff.

Hope you enjoy. Be happy to answer any questions on the vid.

The soundtrack to the first half made me sad for the trees.... well... not really

I liked the double trunk felling in the 2nd half

Compared with Australia I reckon Scotland is pretty cold, its also very dark in the winter months, gets light at 8.30 am then dark about 3.30pm, makes for short days when your working outdoors. Summer - light at 5am, dark at 10pm. Its warm now though - 12 Celsius/50ish Farenheit.
