"Why you don't want to stand under a tree in a storm".....especially a tree standing all by itself I would guess.

I can't remember where I got this pic from, but I can remember my mother telling me when I was about 4 or 5 years old, "If there's a storm, don't stand under a tree" I wish we had video cameras back then, we had some big hits. One big ironbark got hit twice in 3 years.

Really! My guess is that one was toast and the firewood pile got larger soon after.
