heres some stuff i found on youtube that i found pretty interesting, not a usual rigging scenario but pretty entertaining never the less. it should be good for a convo even though its prolly going to be a little one sided. the series is about 55 minutes long, i have to give cudos to the climbers theres about a dozen times i would have knocked the guy out and wrapped him up like a mummy to lower him down, but they kept there cool. part 1 part 2 part 3 part 4 part 5 part 6 |

I watched the first one. Scenario? Guy, tree sitter, other guys trying to get him out, people yelling from the ground from both sides and a guy/s revving saw for intimidation purposes.???

It def. is. If I was there I would have hooked him up with the zip tie I saw in the guy's hand and lowered him down by his ankles like a big POS. The Oxman has posted on here, maybe he can give us a little background. |

I'll be honest, I watched a little but didn't view them all. Frankly, I dont have the time or patience to watch wankers! ![]() I always seem to see the same common denominator, young, little logical brain, emotional, extremists and a cause that keeps them from a real job.

Did anyone read the comments on these videos. It scares me that there's more morons like that out there. Don't get me wrong, I believe fully in the protection of our planet and it's resources, but I don't believe in being stupid. I don't think that activists like this really think out their actions before they go climbing up a tree to save it. The least they could do is learn to climb correctly and safely. IMO of course.
