Hmmm, I don't know what was done there but I doubt it was the technique in this video as you'd expect to see a step both sides of the wedge.

He missed that at the last minute and cut straight back boy did it fall quick he jumped back out of the way, with me holding my side laughing because he forgot the back strap. we are diond a leaner today so i will take him through it again and see if he can get it right, thing is he got everything else spot on level hinge, good step then forgets that hey ho thats the pressure of learning for you

VERY impressive technique to felling a tree. How small, or how big of a tree would be safe to use this technique? Would it be safe to try on something around the 24" across the stump, or not? Thanks for posting another good video. Bruce.
