Default Rescuing a Toyota Prado from a failed tree limb

8.16 mins long and 38.5mb WMV

The emphasis was on NOT creating further damage. I suppose any ole fool could have just cut it up and off the vehicle ... but how much more damage would they do?

Post 16 of mine in this thread has pictures of the incident too Removing Codominants / How to get around this hazard?

Great planning and good work! I'm very glad to see someone, even an insurance co at that, prepared to pay to do something RIGHT.

An Arborist inspection prior to the incident would likely prevented it. Quite predictable failure, but who listens to arborists 1/2 the time. Trees just drop branches right? WRONG.

The video came out nicely.

Helmet camera, handheld or both?

Did you go up in a bucket, or hand the camera to someone in the tree to get that cut of the remaining stub?

No helmet cam, and it's called customer cam!

Back yard was terraced for vantage points.
