Talking Red Face Blue Undies

I have heard of some guys losing their shirt as a result of not managing the business side of things but this is ridiculous!

Red face, blue undies - man stuck up tree with no pants | The Courier-Mail

I am glad he was ok at the end of it....time for a new harness maybe???

Hilarious

What the hell happened for a harness to "snap" though???

How would a proper tree harness just disappear???

To end up in his situation you'd need the waist belt and leg loops/butt strap to snap at the same time, as well as your climbing rope and flipline to snap for the whole lot to fall away from you.

Or more likely, he was up there on some spikes & just a make shift waist belt rather than a proper, professional tree climbing harness.

He didnt seem in a hurry to pull his pants up

And hello, some-ones dropped it on Youtube and somehow pulled my name into it!

I have responded to the 2 posts at YouTube however posts are moderated and we'll see if they get published.

I'm wondering .... there's no-one coming forward with who it is so perhaps it's a well known person and perhaps they're a QAA member.... if that's the case they certainly dont want to bring to OHS's attention the lack of correct procedure do they.

That would also make it the second recent incident on the Gold Coast for tree loppers.
