Hey guys, I have posted before about the idea of this before. I have had them made and a rescue equipment company here in the USA has picked it up to market it. Just thought I would forward a little vid of it that I have put on youtube. Always enjoyed hereing what others have had to say. I must say thou this has been made with the idea of rescue not so much tree work. Think of it like this, you are a rescuer on scene of a car over a cliff and you can see the victim moving but not responding to you and you have to get to them asap! The close thing to anchor to is your truck. This gives you a fast anchor that is off the ground and not going to be dirty from the underside of the truck. Anyway feel free to tell me what you think. Be safe out there guys, hope all has been good for ya.

Great stuff, you are a BAMF! Funny if some-one drove off and we saw you coming over the wall and running after the car.

It has worked great for speedlining for me! I just did a Elm that was growing over a garage and deck with it. Best part was I was able to put the truck exactly where I needed the anchor to be. Rules that I have placed on the Rapid Anchor Rigging Plate when using it is, Keys are to stay in the pocket of an operator/ command staff, wheels are to be chocked, emergency brake is placed on. Other conciderations that the rigger will have to take upon them self is surrounding conditions. ie, if the surface the truck is on is covered in ice and you go for it anyway, good chance you will be moving your anchor. There are limitations with everything thou so just be careful. Best part about this anchor plate is if you cant use it on a truck for the project you are on it can still be used as a traditional rigging plate ( anchored to a tree, pole, building) or be placed onto a high line/speed line as a trolley.
