So did you only remove the one leader or both of them?I was taught that leaving one leader out of a multiple stem is bad because the other stem is weakend by the removal of its mate and is exposed to more wind loading.

The other side is being left for now. It is not the ideal situation, it will likely have to come out eventually, hopefully after some younger trees behind it are more mature. Luckily oranges are very tough and masters of compartmentilisation, it could probably live another 100 years given the chance but in the location it is in that isn't likely. Forunately the lot is full of trees in all phases of their life cycle.

A good video I enjoyed watching it, we've got a blackbutt removal in a few days that has grown up right over wires, we could really dominate (1 or 2 hours instead of all day nibly bits) with a GRCS..

As for technique a bit rough around the edges, when you flopped one of them pieces I thought for sure it was gunna swing back and deck the tiles - but all was good

All in all, good video, very entertaining keep em' coming.

Good on you, watch that one handing though ... especially with a rear handled saw.

Tell the camera man that some closer zooming in is good to.

All I have is a digital still camera that also does video, not a proper video camera. Unfortunately, you can not zoom while it is recording video.
