Cool video, loved some of those close ups.

Hows that spar that you felled up the hill bouncing back, noobs be aware of that and that's why you buzz off from near the stump.

Noticed a few mid point ties, or near balance point rigging.

That was a good clip

Like the close ups as the tops hinge over, good accurate cuts there.

Big column of decay in one of em hey?

And the uphill bouncer was a doozy!

The uphill bouncer - I was demonstrating to a trainee arborist why you shouldn't stand next to a falling stem no matter how safe it might look.

Those large sections swinging across @ 1:47 would be scary.

They'd swung down below the climber, sometimes rigging is all about guiding pieces of timber to the ground in a semi-controlled manner, other times it requires total control.

Well...I used to live in Waldorf, MD and if you were to compare the trees of Maryland to the trees in Scotland it'd be something like this....

Maryland has bigger hardwoods - Oaks and Tulip Poplars etc grow way bigger and faster than similar species in Scotland due to our bad weather. Overall Maryland has a lot more big trees growing next to houses and property than anywhere in Scotland. But Scotland has a huge variety of trees that people grow in their gardens albeit on a smaller scale than in MD. Our tallest tree is about 212ft - Douglas Fir.
