Default Lombardy Poplar - Glasgow



There are few things in this video I would do differently next time, some obvious little bad habits and better cuts are needed but overall I was pretty pleased with the end result -

Felling the whole tree would've destroyed the drainage system under the grass, felling the top out was about as much as we could get away with. Suppose we could've put about 100ftx40ft length of thick furniture foam on the field but then it only took 1 hour to remove the tree so why bother with the foam?

Felling has it's place, but not on this job.

Ahh, it's like rubbing salt in the wounds when you could fell it as far as space goes but can't because of something like that.

1 hour is good going though anyway
