Young Matt is Jim1nz's mate, he's been here a while now between jobs and soon going back to NZ ... I managed to get him in for a few days. Had a large assed cuban to do, Matty did it. He went good, sure was sweating and I bet his feet were burning. Here's the video.

That was one big cigar! Lotta heavy blocks there, could ya kanga them out? That Pine in the background (neighbs?) looked pretty ugly. Tight compression fork at the co-dom union. |

We told the customer who'll have a chat to the neighbour about the slash pine, it was bad and if it failed would definately take out our customers house. Be cheaper to let that happen and just claim on insurance though wouldn't it? And the irony is that it would be the victim who'd have to make the claim. We could get the kanga to the gate, just rolled the blocks down to the gate.

Ilike the way 2 fronds were tied & lowered at once. I always love to see the FOAM in use! That trunk was large, it reminds me of the Washingtonia Felifera and Phoenix canariensis i used to work on in California. Keep the palm vids coming!

Pssst, Mike. We hate palms here, they're disgusting! Aint nothing like cuttin wood, totally different, and they wreck ya gear. Mind you, snatching them outta a yard with one cut at the base and stuffing them in a chipper really turns me on!
