The developer had it on site and available for us to use. The idea being they pulled the stumps out as we went along, the ironbarks gave them a hard time though.

They had to pull stump and roots, rake it, then raise about 300mm the entire area of construction as it's a low lying area.

About 50% of the land there, the wooded part left down the end was given (for free) to council as a park to obtain the go ahead for the other half. That wooded half now has to be cleared of weeds, debri, deadwood etc by hand and brought up to park specifications. A long and tedious job.

Nice one eric and the music was rocking, weed clearing by hand ah fond memories of bad backs and thorned hands, horse fly and mossie bites mmmm low impact land clearance can't beat it, id say get a herd of goats in there but the dangerous creatures you guys have would probably wipe them out quicker than they could do the job.

Ekka, I always enjoy the videos and the music is rock as usual. Its good. Grew up with it due to 7 year older brother. Is that your bc1800 in the vid? And in the video it seems to be having a hard time with that last big log, that looks like a dead tree, brown in color? Is that normal, is that a big diameter wood, dull blades, engine worn out, hard wood, or again just my misjudgement, like my spelling. My friend has the bc1800, same engine as my morbark 13. The john deere 115 turbo. (bit underpower for 18 inch chipper but I guess better on fuel for most jobs.

That seems way underpowered for an `18" cutrite. I thought they had 174's. I have that engine in my 12'' (bc1250A). We were chipping 20" dia solid red oak with my "new" used BC 2000 today and it didn't struggle at all. What an amazing machine. Crane op was just shaking his head and smiling. How they are ever going to improve this machine (BC 2100) is a puzzle to me.
