LOL, that was an ambitious drop .... especially leaving those branches on up the top, even if he got it bang on it may have rolled into the shed.

Dang funny though, "sorry"

After watching it again, I think he lucked out hitting the shed. Could of hit the house...way more money to repair that damage.

Well can not really tell if someone has been up that tree to remove the branches recently?? May have just been like that for years.
But if he or someone else removed them they should have pieced it all the way down or untill at least safe.

And hey, Climb safe out there.

Rob.
PS, SORRY.

I think it's a setup. There was just nowhere for that tree to go other than on the chainsaw cutter, one of those houses or the shed. The shed won.

It couldn't fall this way because he was cutting from this side, it was always going to hit that shed.

I think the guy was aiming for just left of the shed, but if he was it was bloody optimistic. Hollow as anything, huge branch on the top (probably still solid by the look of it), there was no way to control that thing.

No way I'd try dropping it straight, that's for sure!

LOL, in the beginning they fetch your beer.

In the end you're worse off than a Sherpa on an Everest accent! Ah .... yet to find one that doesn't think the planet revolves around their little finger.

Good shed demo job.

I have dropped a lot of hollow oaks and boxelders within a foot of target. That is not the issue... seems to me like his back cut was aiming the tree exactly where it landed. If that was the back cut that is... you would think he would drop that big knobby limb first and then drop the tree toward where he was standing... but then, thinking seems to have not been an available option in this case.
