Default Dropped a log this morning

Tree log of course, what were you thinking?!

Anyway, I kept the stirring in the video but edited with beeps.

The saw was ms660 with 25" bar, bar wasn't long enough but that doesn't worry me. I did have the bulk of the cutting completed and just showed the last bit. I went to the right side to give a thinner hinge on that side as the log has a slight lean toward that house.

I must have indicated and yelled out 5 times to GO and pull the thing over but the guy on the winch was listening to another groundy who was telling him stop!? WTF, like who got him involved and without my knowledge. The guy on the winch has a thumb controller and was debriefed that when I say go ... GO dont pussy foot around. Hence why I thought he got gay finger.

So, not that there was any big deal but something to be aware of, make sure all groundies are debriefed with their role and the puller only takes commands from 1 person, the cutter unless you have prior arrangements.

Anyway, around 2 mins and 10mb WMV

Simple video Ekka, but shows how simple things can possibly turn rse up!!
Good to see the groundy told straight too. These days you are told to sit them down, be calm, explain to them in 5 points where they went wrong, offer counselling

Gay finger. LOL

Next invention, a R/C winch with push button to eliminate groundies.

I can see that... with a robotic Kanga, Artificially Intelligent.

Get some C-3P0's as stick picker-uppers... that'd be great!

Probably sucks for maintenance though.

I would have "BEEP" kicked his "BEEP" ass, all over the "BEEP" place, if that went the "BEEPING" wrong way..

I've had a guy answer his mobile and drop the rope, just to have an argument with his girlfriend. I slapped his "BEEPING" skull, when I got down.

HAha, man sometimes I wonder why these guys feel they are "on call" (like a surgeon or a firefighter), and why they would ever think that their call is more important than their paycheck.

I tell my guys right when they're hired:
  • The only people making money on the phone are salespeople and phone sex operators. You can't sell and you're voice isn't that sexy.
  • I pay you for your time, which now belongs to me. Stealing my time is like staling my money.
  • If you want to take back the time you sold to me, I will take back the money I was going to pay you. Then, you will have all the time you want to talk on the phone, and a bunch of "help wanted" ads to call.
  • Just because you've worked here for 5 years, don't think that this doesn't apply to you. If I won't tolerate a thief in my company for one minute, why would I tolerate one who's already been here 5 years? All thieves are immediately terminated upon positive identification.

I only had to prove this a couple times, and now everyone is very clear on my expectations.
