| Good sound on that thou, I had to put my ear muffs on to listen to the youtube audio. Boom shuckalacky, must be the new (belated) Timmmmbbbbbberrrrr call from the US??? In oz before the release we shut the saw down and call falling then restart and deliver the release. I will say from my office chair observation the scarf and release looked well executed (thats my "be nice I'm new" comment ), although it was obviously a reasonable forward leaner or heavily bias to the felling direction (given the holding wood left on the hinge after release and I believe the cracking sound I heard at 2.20). The faller didn't with draw until 2.26 when the tree was well on its way, I wonder wether a back release would have been more appropriate as it would have provided a "tap and exit"?![]() Not critical just speculative.
