I once cut into a European Wasp nest. Lets just say I'm pretty careful these days and I have the number of a great bee collector/wasp eliminator always at hand.

Wow that is crazy, hey at least they all had a good laugh. We did a huge dead willow that failed and closed one the the township roads this summer and it was covered in poison Ivy started cutting up the tree and chipping the branches and Ivy got to the base and hit a yellow jackets nest got nailed a couple of times. Two days later covered in poison ivy and my left eye was swelled shut. 7 days of prednazone and itched bad. I'll take the bees.

i was stung by a wasp a few months ago while removing a Banskia. the bastard stung me right on the collor bone. ive never retreated to the ground so fast.

LoL, gotta hate bees. We had a possum box that had a hive in it once up in a Peppercorn. We had these russian builders on site and one of them climbed up into the tree and kicked the box out while another one grabbed a bin and placed the hive inside and took it with him...

there no fun around here. We have been getting those killer african bees slowly making there way into florida. much more aggressive.
