South Australia's Treenet.org put these valuable videos up on Youtube. Great stuff as exclusivity is not the way forward and keeping people ignorant in favour of $'s results in a worse outcome.... after all outcome is what it is all about. These are shot on-site and there's a lot to absorb, cover habitat creation and how urban trees need space for both living and dying. This is aimed at the Australian tree worker. I have listed them here in order for viewing. For reference at time of uploading existing Youtube views were in order from video numbers 1 to 8 as follows:- 8, 11, 5, 4, 8, 6, 6, 5. That is to show the influence Treeworld has. Those videos were up since 30 June and barely scored viewing.

I enjoyed watching all the videos, some good ideas for helping along natural habitat. The understory planting and how it helped the old trees and soil was interesting...more and more they are starting to realise mimicking nature is better than trying to be god.

If indeed the goal is habitat creation then this information needs to go out to everyone, not just the select few who pay like QAA is doing, they are having a 1 day $160 event this Friday coming. ![]() And I also video'd back in 2008 at Arborcamp here a demo of it, was told by QAA not to put video on Youtube, yes censorship and money making. Copy of some of the pics I took from the video I didn't release below. It's time for a change everyone, dump the cronies and control freaks. Quote:

Great set of vids, really enjoyed, For the fact what Ben said is true I read an article many years ago that found that older eucs with hollows of animals had higher nutrient levels in the soil immediately around the tree than other nearby trees due to waste (shit) from the nesting animals. |
