It's amazing how people think that they can do the job when they are just retards. watching that really makes me cringe, it's idiots like that, that cause the decent peoples insurance to be so high, there is alot to be said for making everyone who uses a chainsaw professionally be liciensed.

they both should have been crushed, the first guy should have had his head and arm and shoulder ripped off buy the cable. one handed saw operating above your head, that would have looked good splitting his dumb skull

This is their website. Regan Tree Service - Chester County - Chester County Tree Removal Services Pretty poor stuff to see, but typical.

Another fine example of why our insurance rates are so high. One day, they will win the Darwin Award (see Darwin Awards: 2010 Darwin Awards) using techniques like this. Their comments at the bottom of the Youtube page shows their level of competence or even understanding of what they did wrong. This was posted by someone "proud" of what they accomplished instead of realising how unprofessional the whole thing was. |

Whilst the video is not in English you can understand what is going on, it's one fo the best videos yet IMHO. Swedish video| Dealing with storm felled trees The use of scarfs (notches), different cutting techniques and wedges .... and of course PPE!

Thanks Eric F., Very good video. It is so important to understand the forces going on with these trees. How does someone not wear any PPE and not get dropped from their insurance company??? Joe Public can see they aren't wearing any PPE!!! I guess either they don't have insurance or won't in the near future by posting evidence of negligence. Walk away to live another day-- great advice!!! |

"Regan Tree Service has been serving the local Chester County community and beyond since 1992. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction, performing safe and quality work at the best possible prices. We use our own state of the art machinery that ensures the toughest jobs are done right and most of all safe." The first line of their web site, I love it how they empathize safety twice even, probably the safest thing on the first video were the strap on his sunnies, it'd be such a shame to have to spend another 10 bucks on his only piece of PPE lol. Didn't waste my time watching the other videos. Someone once told me men only have enough blood in their body to either run their brain or their member after seeing this I believe it, clearly using the biggest saw he could find and to have his stupidity caught on camera with his mates was too much for this bloke and unfortunately his brain was left behind for this one. ![]() And for frogman you should NEVER attempt anything like this unless you are %110 competent and fully trained. |

I could not watch the videos since I knew that at any time someone was going to be killed. Sad state of affairs! Somehow they have survived since 1992... that is scarry! I wonder how many close calls they had had in that time. Rusian roulette anyone? They have not ran into the tree that will end their "carreers" as tree choppers. Love the picture of the guy with the shorts in the tree - Very Professional! Eric.
