so i found this tree one day in my front yard and started growing it in my back yard and its pretty big. (about 6 feet tall) but i have NO idea of what type of tree it is. ive checked out a lot of sites but nobody can tell me what it is. my dad thinks its some sort of maple tree but im not sure. its still a bit young and its leaves range a bit but im hoping someone here can tell me what it is. |

Looks a bit like Amur Maple (Acer ginnala) but it might also be a shrub like Highbush Cranberry (Viburnum trilobum) that has maple like leaves. What kind of fruit does it have? Berries? Keys? Any pics of buds? And what about the pith - is it solid or soft and punky?
