For instance guys. I have had Jim from NZ come and stay.

Mike from Alaska who I still stay intouch with and would like to hang out with again ... I still miss that bugger.

Nathan from Texas Germany, we did a walk in the rainforest ... both of us had sore legs for a few days but it was worth it.

So keep each other in mind when looking at your itineries.

Hey Guys,

I am Iorek and I am an arborist from Sweden, I am currently based in Ankara with my wife's work.

Just found this site, looks like it is a new site? Yes?

I am studying for my european treeworkers certificate, I thought this site might have other europeans?

Anyone here done this certificate?

If you have, what is the best way to approach it?

Iorek

Turkey is a culture shock coming fron Malmo, Sweden.

Being on the border with Iraq always makes you worried, but the Kurds in the north of Iraq keep a natural boundary.

The food is tasty

I use a Cresto Harness, It is Swedish, they might sell them in the Australia?

The used to be called Svens Tradvard.

Very good quality they are.

What is an Australian harness look like.?

Hi

Do you have any pictures you can post, be interesting to see what the landscape and trees are like.

What sort of work do you do there?

Me, I'm a little bit of a lady's man and taking it easy.

It is only fo 1 more year, then we are back in Malmo

Its all expenses payed so we have good residences.

Sweden is the most interesting country.

Maybe possibly homesick

Trailwatcher thanks for joining.

Looking forward to chatting with you and your profile looks most impressive.

I think you may be an instructor so there's many documents in the Tree Fact Factory that you'll find useful.

I still have a few more to load up but Rome wasn't built in a day they say.

Have you any pics to post of trees and things in your neck of the woods? Where I am we got a heck of lot of these darned palms and gum trees.

As a long time gardener I feel for you folks and the drought you are having. Our land is scarce of water and we mostly depend on rain fall for irragation. Sometimes I sit out in the yard when it rains and think of how long I would have to run the pump to equal one good rain.

Hey guys,

I have been using the net to try to find more information to help me with the european treeworkers certificate.

I have found more tree related forums like this one, ????????????, ????????, treeclimberscoalition, proclimber(shop forumUK), treetech. treehouse and good gardening and chainsaw forums.

I had no idea there where so many, ???????? is awesome, packed with so many information, photos, videos(I see one of the owners here has videos there) very good arborist ideas are happing at this forum. I will use it most I think.

The ???????????? is similar to the ????????, but seems to be more confusing to navigate with too many lists of threads, it does not seemed managed well to make it easy to understand, well for me anyway. I see many familiar names start to repeat themselves on these forums.

Treeclimbers coalition is for canopy access people it would seem, very knowledgable and friendly people there, very basic forum setup. Nice.

Proclimber is a good european forum but almost exclusively English, Welsh, Scottish and ireland people there, no other europeans, but relevant sparse information is Ok for this forum(euro chainsaw regulations, trousers etc).

Treetech is good but more exclusively american, but relevant also.

Treehouse is for me hard to quantify, confusing name - 'masterblasters lounge'. I believe I saw this name on ???????? many times, maybe as we say in Sweden these people have their hands in all the pies. It is a funny forum for its not serious at all, which is ok for fun but many people there are trying to be unreal happy, yes? We say in Sweden if you can not hang with the monkeys then be the monkeys. Translation maybe not right?
I find this treehouse useless place for serious arborists. Sorry if he is your friend but swedish people are honest about these things.

This forum has the same style of page as treehouse, only your banner at the top is very cheap looking and why is you not have the same set up of page like ????????, which is so far ahead of you guys its not true.

Maybe try to be like ???????? more, I think. I notice this is an Australian site focus.

thanks for your help, I like this forum. As it is good place for very basic information.

We stay in a small place called Cubuk as we have to be near the airport, but as my wife's job needs certain levels of security so I can't tell you our exact address.

You are very wrong about swedish people not having good english, we are taught english from junior school and I grew up listening to bands like Pearl Jam and Nirvana as I am a rock music fan and we watch mostly all hollywood films, but i have seen australian films, MadMax is hard to beat as is also a good film Priscilla queen of the desert.

I come from a wealthy middle class family as well so this means my parents cared for me and my education better than a swedish working class parents would. As I come from a priviliged upbringing where my parents loved and cared for me, they knew that I would benefit from a great deal of being taught english. My children will be taught swedish and english.

i am a small bit insulted by your query about my english.

lets be friends? Yes?

What does a lopa mean i have never seen this before?

Yes photos of Turkey i have and photos of myself doing treework in sweden, you will like them. i wiil put thgem up before the end of the week once i sort out the best ones.

I see from your website your real name is Jason, Yes? do you mind if i call you this from now on, as i am called Iorek and you know this, a lopa seems unfriendly to me being from sweden.

I see the other owners are called Eric and the TreeCo from ???????? is called Dan from their websites, if i am going to continue to use this website i will call you by your real names as you know mine. i do not like avatars or fake made up names, it is very insincere and lacks integrity from you people being the owners. Ok?

More thoughts on treehouse(masterblasters lounge) yes? you ask for this?

I spent maybe 2 hours on this forum yesterday, the person masterblaster is what we would say in sweden, a phoney like a walter mitty type of man, despersate to seem lovable to everyone. swedish people are the most sensitive and emotionally intelligent when it comes to picking up peoples state of mind, yes? so for us it is easy to understand that the masterblaster person is very insecure and has to spend most of his time on internet forums like the ???????? to make people notice his existence, do you people know this person? Maybe? I am telling to much information about this person.

i will be able to tell you, Eric the owner and Dan what kind of people you are after reading a few of weeks of your posts.
I can tell the owner Eric is a good person with gold in his heart for he wants to express his love of trees into a web forum, but he is tempted to imitate lesser ideas he copys from other sources on the web. Yes?

He is also very busy a man to concentrate with his palm tree felling business and run a forum, Yes? this would seem to be the story from looking at his amount of posts on the ????????????, ???????? and all his video making at Brisbane. I always do my research about web forum owners before I join a forum to see what kind of people the really are, Yes?

I have to go now, so i will see you later, Yes?

Jason, you said any photos I have offhand is ok, Yes?

I am sitting here beside my photos of my wife with a bikini on with her girlfriends when we last went to the beach. So if you think I will show these pictures to you are wrong. To think this would be possible.

If you make any remarks like this again it will probably offend me, Ok?

My wife is a beautiful woman but she is my woman, So I have seen trolls on the Rock and Movie forums asking for this information before. Being sneaky to ask for photos like this in a certain innocent way.

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, I hope.
