HAHA.. I used to watch the Croc HUnter all the time- he had a wonderful attitude about him.

Sure gave me something to think about next time I go underwater, that's for sure.

Well good on you Matty, we do poke a bit of fun here and there to ... however at the end of the day we all know what this job is really about.

And how hard and dangerous it can be.

There's a legend tree cutter from Isle of Man right here, he's like the law over there.

Good to see you here Bermy , how hot is it in your workplace today?

HI Ekka,
Thanks for the welcome, it hasn't got really hot quite yet, still hovering just at 80 (25ish) but humid.
Loads of rain today, great for the water tanks!
Who is the Isle of Man guy? I am going there in September to play hockey and have a few days extra, the trees are calling!

A guy called Krowdon come with it and a few others, we had a comp and he made $100. Should be in the announcements forum.

Default Howdy fellow tree folk!

Hi, My first post. Great site Ekka! Sorry I lurked for so long before posting. I guess I'm sort of the quiet type. I have aquired a great respect for many of you, so I figured it just wasn't fair to sit on the side lines. I'll try to go against my nature, and join in the conversation once in a while. Stay safe!

Howdy Panama .... good to see you got some confidence up and posted.

The bark of the mystery tree should help, quite distinct.

Nice website, beautiful horses.

I know Calif is a big state, and North and South don't get along....no not true, we all hate LA. But I'm just going about 3 hours north for the test. There is one local, but I want the longer time to study...which I better start doing. And the tree list will be the same as here. They grow house plants on the coast and call them trees.

Fawad

Can you bit a little more specific about your assignment, like exactly where the aesthetic plantation is, or will be , or what it has to do etc.

I also Googled it and there's lots of info but varies greatly as to what it specifically is trying to accomplish.

Perhaps start a new thread in the General area.

Hello Everyone, This, as the saying goes is My first post. EKKA I am hooked on your video's, it looks like FUN being u-uup there. What brings me here? I have a dead maple 40+-feet in a tight urban location. I would rather buy the equipment learn how to use it and take the tree down myself. I am searching out all the information which I can find. Thanks for listening. Keep right side up
